The usual challenges were encountered in our maintenance department in Howe: loss parts, long repair times, bad inventory control. Thus, all creating a financial burden for the company.
To solve this issue the team restructured and organized the inventory with locations and control systems to rapidly find what they needed and ensure all parts required were in stock.
Controlled caged part cribs were installed. Roles and responsibilities to manage parts, consumables and prepare job kits were also revised. In short, a great transformation story made possible through teamwork!
