JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Director of Digital Transformation and Technology is responsible for defining and executing Exo-s’s digital strategy to support the organization’s growth, operational performance, and competitiveness. He ensures that technologies, information systems, data, and artificial intelligence are aligned with business objectives while promoting a pragmatic, secure, and results-oriented approach. In a rapidly evolving international manufacturing environment, the Director of Digital Transformation and Technology acts as a catalyst for digital transformation by ensuring consistency across technology infrastructure, business applications, corporate data, and innovation initiatives. Specifically, the Director of Digital Transformation and Technology will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain an IT/IS strategic plan aligned with the organization’s objectives;
  • Ensure consistency and integration of initiatives across IT, IS, data, and AI functions;
  • Establish clear governance, prioritization mechanisms, and effective accountability;
  • Define and maintain a corporate data management and governance strategy;
  • Establish an artificial intelligence roadmap aligned with business priorities;
  • Govern the technology project portfolio and ensure investments are prioritized based on their business value;
  • Define the enterprise architecture and system integration standards;
  • Ensure the quality, security, accessibility, and value of corporate data;
  • Support the achievement of TISAX certification;
  • Supervise IT and IS managers and their teams;
  • Ensure the overall performance of IT and IS services and implement relevant performance metrics;
  • Identify, measure, and communicate the benefits generated by digital initiatives.

MAIN PROJECTS

  • Deploy and evolve the corporate data governance and data lake strategy;
  • Accelerate process automation and systems integration through the use of APIs, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence;
  • Define and implement an AI roadmap that generates value for business functions;
  • Support ERP standardization across the organization and prepare for the transition to its future environment;
  • Ensure that TISAX certification requirements are met and maintained;
  • Promote the adoption of high-performing enterprise solutions that reduce reliance on ungoverned solutions (“Shadow IT”);
  • Develop a scalable technology architecture that supports Exo-s’s international growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • University degree in information technology or equivalent;
  • Significant experience leading digital transformation programs involving ERP, data management, automation, and business technologies;
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a management role;
  • Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment;
  • Management experience in an international context;
  • In-depth understanding of ERP systems (Plex is a plus);
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and artificial intelligence;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and cybersecurity;
  • Inspiring leadership and the ability to develop a strategic vision;
  • Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel frequently (valid passport required).
