Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, the Analyst will be responsible for translating stakeholder needs into concrete, reliable and actionable analytical solutions. This person will play a key role in the implementation and evolution of our new data lake, in collaboration with a specialized external consultant. We are looking for a professional who is rigorous, analytical and motivated by the impact of data on organizational performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, creating relevant dashboards and progressively developing their skills in modern data platforms and emerging technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Lake Operation and Maintenance

  • Ensure the availability, quality and reliability of data from the ERP (Plex) and related systems;
  • Support data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data used for the various reports;
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the data environment, including the exploration of data lake technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric);
  • Participate in management of pipelines, data feeds, and the continuous improvement of the architecture.

Business Analysis and Requirements Translation

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into sustainable measurement solutions (KPIs, reports, dashboards);
  • Document management rules, indicators, metadata and analysis logic.

Power BI Solution Development

  • Design, develop and deploy interactive, high-performance, decision-oriented dashboards;
  • Provide clear visualizations tailored to both technical and non-technical users.

Data Governance and Quality

  • Implement and maintain standards for governance, security, classification, documentation and compliance;
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues with the IT team.

Developing an internal culture of analytics

  • Train super-users, the IT teams and managers;
  • Help establish a structured, data-drivent approach.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports;
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and experience of working with data from multiple sources;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical contacts;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment;
  • Excellent analytical, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills;
  • Structured and meticulous;
  • Familiar with navigating a project management environment (milestones, deliverables, deadlines, etc.);
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Availability to travail (occasionnally);
  • Bilingualism an asset; fluency in English (written and spoken) is a minimum requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SQL and/or a programming language such as Python;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or other modern data lake technologies / data platform
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Power Automate or similar;
  • Interest or experience in AI-based analytics, large-scale language models (LLMs) or advanced data use cases.
