 Reporting to the US Director of Operations. The HR Manager will be responsible to support the HR needs of Exo-s, at two facilities in the US.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR Manager has as primary responsibilities: health and safety, recruitment (hourly and salaried), compensation (in accordance with corporate guidelines), organizational development (e.g. training), labor relation and all resulting administrative activities.

Wanted profile

  • Bachelor degree in business administration /Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar position

Work Location: In person; 2 facilities (IN, MI)

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support the culture of the company by focusing on organizational values and empowering team members;
  • Increase health and safety awareness by providing the proper training and making sure the company is compliant;
  • Recruit employees for the plant (both for management positions as hourly positions);
  • Serve as a coach for supervisors and managers for the management and development of their employees;
  • Participate in the Management Committee (weekly);
  • Implement, monitor and optimize the results of human resources performance indicators (health security, attendance, turnover, etc.);
  • Establish processes and / or needed corrections to comply with ISO TS (automotive norm);
  • Active participation to audits as required;
  • Work with the VP HR for the deployment of politics and Exo-s processes;
  • Participate/ organize various social activities to promote our organizational values;
  • Build and monitor the implementation of the operational plan of the human resources team in connection with the company’s objectives;
  • Follow the budgetary expenditure of the HR team;
  • Manage the members of the HR team (HR coordinator, recruiter, EH&S Coordinator, Training Coordinator);
  • Promote the utilization and implementation of lean tools to increase the efficiency of the HR service;
  • Support and or lead all payroll and benefits management activities;
  • Support workers compensation cases;
  • Ensure monthly communications with employees to share information about annual incentive programs, operational KPI, Q&A, etc.;
  • Improve processes and systems already in place;
  • Manage local grants;
  • Ensure compliance of US labor laws;
  • Maximize synergies between US, Canada and Mexican sites.
