JOB PURPOSE

In the context of an industrial transformation, the company is pursuing clear objectives by 2030 to increase automation and integrate digital technologies in order to enhance its performance, quality, and competitiveness. The initiatives already in place in automation, system connectivity, and data utilization are part of this evolution.

Artificial intelligence is a key lever for accelerating this transformation, particularly in process optimization, predictive maintenance and advanced analytics. In this context, the creation of the position ofAutomation and Artificial Intelligence Expert aims to structure and accelerate the deployment of these solutions across the company.

Reporting to the Technical Services – Director, the Artificial Intelligence Specialist is responsible for identifying, designing, and deploying AI-based solutions to optimize organizational processes and support the continuous improvement of internal practices. The individual acts as an internal expert and collaborates with various teams to integrate AI tools into operations.

Main responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes using artificial intelligence solutions;
  • Design, test and deploy tools or solutions using AI models (e.g. LLM, automation, agents, programming);
  • Analyze existing processes and propose AI-supported improvements;
  • Work with different teams to understand their operational needs;
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices for the use of AI in the organization;
  • Participate in technology watch on artificial intelligence tools and solutions;
  • Document the solutions developed and ensure knowledge transfer to the teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • University degree in a relevant field (computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering or equivalent);
  • Relevant experience in developing or implementing artificial intelligence solutions;
  • Knowledge of automation tools, programming languages and language models (LLMs);
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users;
  • Bilingual, French and English
