Purpose of the function
Reporting to the IS Project Manager, the ERP Analyst will work closely with the IS and IT team. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key business initiatives by improving business processes within a standard project management methodology. The candidate will be expected to provide a variety of technical and analytical services to customers at all sites (Canada, USA, Mexico) and play a support role to users of IT systems.
More specifically, the person sought will be called upon to :
- Lead the review, optimization and documentation of business processes
- Conduct quantitative analysis and modeling to support operational decisions;
- Proactively monitor, identify and resolve critical business issues and risks;
- Actively participate in various problem-solving workshops to meet customer expectations;
- Implement both quick wins and long-term solutions;
- Provide user training ;
- Managing change when implementing new products ;
- Support UX migration efforts by configuring and customizing Plex screens, roles and navigation;
- In collaboration with the project manager, participate in the review of business processes and develop optimization strategies;
- Develop and maintain documentation and metrics to improve operational efficiency;
- Participate in major projects such as the activation of new modules with our ERP and the standardization of processes;
- Build/improve/dynamize evolving operational processes between several functions;
- Work with ERP system users and managers to determine the appropriate/optimized system configuration;
- Research, identify, develop, test and implement changes to improve the ERP system and business processes;
- Deploy industry best practices to improve Exo-s efficiency through our ERP modules;
- Respond to level 2 user requests for the ERP system via a ticketing system;
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent ;
- Minimum 5 years related experience;
- Solid knowledge of PLEX manufacturing system configuration, customization and administration;
- Solid expertise in PLEX configuration, particularly in sales, purchasing, planning and shipping
- Knowledge of various manufacturing business processes / Manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge of a variety of data analysis techniques, including clustering, logistic regression, data/text mining, decision trees, etc.
- Proven success in PLEX ERP standardization and UX migration projects
- Comfortable manipulating and extracting information from large, complex data sets;
- Strong understanding of integrated systems ;
- Strong analytical, innovative problem-solving and multitasking skills;
- Bilingual (French/English), Spanish an asset;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
